VX Terminal Help

Careers site

Connect your careers site to show open roles and applications. It connects once for the whole company.

What it lights up #

Before you start #

Your careers site must offer an editor sign-in at /admin/api/login (the address VX Terminal signs in to). If you use Greenhouse instead, connect Greenhouse.

  1. On your careers site, create an editor account just for VX Terminal. Don't reuse a person's login.

Connect it in VX Terminal #

  1. Open Settings → Connections, find Careers site under People and press Connect on the Global row.
  2. Base URL: the address the site answers on, without a trailing path, like https://careers.yourcompany.com.
  3. Editor account email and Password: the account you created.
  4. Press Test, then Save.

How Test works #

Test signs in once at your base URL plus /admin/api/login. A good result is "Signed in as vxt@yourcompany.com".

"The site is rate-limiting sign-ins. Wait a minute and test again."Wait, then test again.
"Enter the base URL, email and password first."Fill in all three.
"Use a full https:// address"The base URL must start with https://.
