Xero
Connect Xero to show cash, receivables, payables and the last 30 days of profit and loss from your Xero organisation. VX Terminal only reads. Connect once for the whole company (Global), or per brand when a brand has its own organisation.

Before you start #
Sign in as a Xero user who can see reports: an Adviser (Advisor), or a Standard user with the reports permission. Xero refuses report reads for other users, and the connection stops working if that user later loses the role or is removed.
If the card shows Planned and says "Xero isn't switched on for this terminal yet", whoever runs your terminal still has to register its Xero app. Ask them.
Connect it #
- Open Settings → Connections, find Xero under Money and press Connect on the row (or Add for a brand).
- Press Connect to Xero and sign in to Xero.
- Choose the organisation to share and press Allow access. You land back on Connections, connected.
- If you shared more than one organisation, pick the one this connection reads under Xero organisation and press Read this organisation. Connect each brand's own organisation from its brand row.
How Test works #
Test reads the organisation's name and base currency with a fresh access token. Nothing is changed.
Common errors #

| "Pick which Xero organisation this connection reads." | Choose an organisation in Xero organisation and press Read this organisation. |
| "Xero refused the access token. Reconnect Xero." | Press Reconnect to Xero. |
| "Xero refused access to this organisation. It may have been disconnected from the app; reconnect Xero and share it again." | Reconnect and tick the organisation again. |
| "Xero doesn't know this organisation any more. Reconnect Xero." | The organisation was removed or the app disconnected. Reconnect. |
| "Xero needs to be reconnected: the authorization expired or was revoked." | Reconnect. |
| "Xero is rate-limiting this organisation. Wait a minute and test again." | Wait, then press Test again. |
If report figures stay empty after a good Test, check that the person who connected can see reports in Xero, then reconnect.
